Saturday night at AGS102
Something different for this post, it’s not about photography for once. 😛 We go to AGS102 pretty much every Saturday night now, and I’m glad that it keeps changing and remaining fresh. This week was josou (女装, female clothing) week, it was a lot of fun! There were some new faces, and the format of…

Free Comic Book Day 2017
This year at FCBD was a bit more interesting – I actually turned up in the morning! Mostly, Adrian and I were there to support Azusa in handing out promo flyers for Angel Garden Sydney, but we caught up with lots of friends and I met a couple of new ones too.

Back at it again, we’re onto the second wave of AGS102 idols. This time in more traditional attire but suitable for dancing, very cute.

Love Live Marine
A low-stress shoot with some experimentation thrown in for the location. Pyrmont ain’t bad but it’s a bit sterile. La Perouse is nice but quite busy. We had to wait out the harsh sunlight for a while, then the sun started dropping at a fair pace. Rush rush!

A nice afternoon out with Yuuki and Azusa
Yuuki also has to go back to Japan, but she’ll probably return to Sydney again later this year. \o/ Before she left we were lucky enough to have a shoot with Yuuki and Azusa on a lovely not-quite-yet-autumn day, in the botanic gardens and near the Opera House. You can’t really see Azusa here because…

_xxHinako and Nasu – Yosuga no Sora
They’re very special siblings. ^_^ It wasn’t quite a balmy summer day when we shot, but I hope we successfully captured that feeling. Sydney’s weather just being Sydney, we had to fake it up a bit with creative lighting. Yeah the location is kind of a bastard to get to, but it’s a pleasant enough…

RieRie – Ranma 1/2
Ranma is one of my nostalgic favourites, from when I was a budding otaku and the only available anime was dubbed VHS releases. As one of the first things I ever watched I think it’s safe to say it shaped some of my attitudes pretty strongly. We were meant to have a Shampoo for this…

Tearschu – Yuna
I was co-shooting this one so I didn’t do a great deal. We went to explore the newly developed area between Barangaroo and Wynyard, and it’s pretty cool. Thankfully it’s not too busy, and easy to throw some light on. Yuna is a new character from the recently released Sword Art Online movie, Ordinal Scale.…
