RieRie – Ranma 1/2
Ranma is one of my nostalgic favourites, from when I was a budding otaku and the only available anime was dubbed VHS releases. As one of the first things I ever watched I think it’s safe to say it shaped some of my attitudes pretty strongly. We were meant to have a Shampoo for this…

Tearschu – Yuna
I was co-shooting this one so I didn’t do a great deal. We went to explore the newly developed area between Barangaroo and Wynyard, and it’s pretty cool. Thankfully it’s not too busy, and easy to throw some light on. Yuna is a new character from the recently released Sword Art Online movie, Ordinal Scale.…

A puddle of Umi
Shooting this just in time for Sonoda Umi’s birthday, Katherine managed to scrape together four salt queens at short notice. A seaside location would’ve been nice but it wasn’t really practical. Instead we opted to hang around Darling Harbour and check out the new building works, it’s pretty cool.

Uncle Tetsu’s promo shoot
It’s been only several short weeks since Uncle Tetsu’s cafe maid opened, but we’ve been helping out by shooting some promo material for AGS 10-2 today. They’ve done pretty well so far, but they need some nice clean shots for marketing materials, a smartphone camera won’t quite cut it. We hauled in the big guns…

Eri at the Rocks
Eri’s been visiting from Japan but sadly can’t stay around forever. Adrian and Martin and I arranged a casual little shoot/walkaround before she had to head home. We retired to the Munich Brauhaus for a quick beer before heading home. Eri really likes beer. 🙂

Slowpoke – Saber Alter Neko
Saber Alter’s neko form is… sorta canon? Well it’s Nasuverse so who can really say. It’s quite befitting of a ruler though. It doesn’t look like much but this is one of the more deliberate sets that I’ve bothered putting together. We knew it needed to be a rich looking and comfortably luxurious, and could…

Aisu – Eli qipao
This was honestly a difficult shoot, I had a rough idea for the look but it was very impromptu. The hit rate for good shots was pretty low, I got maybe one or two that I’m pleased with. That’s fine though, I knew what I was getting into, and there’s always chances to do it…

Sunflowers
Quirindi is out near Tamworth, it’s a good five hours drive or so. Easily worth it if you can manage the drive, I’m not sure you’d be able to take the train out there (and it’d probably take an inordinately long time). Mikado is cosplaying as Patricia Halliwell, the protagonist from the game Princess Maker…

Studio shoot day
Lewys and I shared the space for the day to ease the cost a bit. Not cheap but it was a nice enough space with some good angles to be had. Katherine models a Madoka collaboration nightdress, it’s so light and airy~ Meanwhile, Hana is ready for a big night on the town!

RieRie – Mitsuha
Your Name (Kimi no Na wa) was a really enjoyable movie, and Rie makes a fine Mitsuha. We went for a low-stress shoot today, a bit of work at home and a bit of exploring. The new Barangaroo developments are nice, very clean. It’s a nice place to wander around.
