Parent post: Crunchyroll Expo Melbourne 2022

I caught up with Moko and her group, who came in the most comfortable costume ever (a big change from her usual).

The Melbourne convention centre is a pretty nice space, it’s big and there’s plenty of space to shoot in the corridors and adjacent areas. The two film photos in this block were taken on Kodak Portra 160 (the latter digitally processed to b/w), a film I like a fair bit. I’m not sure if it’s a good choice for cosplay, but I’ll keep trying it.

The last photo really captured our feelings about the whole weekend.

Shooting notes: Nikon D800 (mostly ISO 160) and Nikon F5 (Portra 160). 85mm and 50mm, f/2 and f/2.8, mostly ambient light, 1/125sec to 1/640sec, strobe and white umbrella for drunk snoozing.
