Probably my favouritest cosplay ever, Kurisu is comfy and easy to wear. In my mind this was the first time I’d gotten everything right, without compromises. To be fair it’s not an especially complex outfit, but it came together well. Plus I got to wear it around Akiba as well, that was nice.

Build notes
Most of the outfit is mutilated pieces of otherwise functional clothing:
- Blouse: sewed blue bias tape around the edges where needed.
- Shorts: made them shorter and form-fitting around the thighs.
- Boots: used as-is, didn’t bother trying to do the crazy zipper-flappy-thing.
About the most work I did was to buy a cheapish hoodie and then tear it apart to use as a pattern for the jacket. I used a nice hefty ponte fabric because it looks good and moves nicely (and is also warm).
